“Albertus Seba: The Cabinet of Natural Curiosities” is my all time favorite coffee table book. Actually, excuse me for just calling it a book. This is a work of art, and clearly, I’m obsessed. Albertus Seba was an animal enthusiast whose collection was world-famous. In 1731, Mr. Seba commissioned artwork of his entire collection and this is how this beautiful book came to life. Only nature could create something so magical and stunning and only a very talented artist could recreate the images that live in these pages. I love it so much I bought a copy for my Dad who’s an artist, he loves it as much as his girl does.
