Hello World!  It’s been a couple of days since my last post.  I’m so sorry…I’ve been busy helping out at my boys school.  Holiday preparations have me in a tangle. :)  I’ll be posting all this month and next holiday ideas.  Here’s the first post on holiday fun stuff.  Ya know, to getcha in the spirit!  xoxo

I love to decorate for the holidays.  Our tree every year has a different color and theme.  I’m starting to think of unique ways to mix vintage pieces with more modern ones around the house.  Here’s some great ideas to get you feeling inspired on your holiday decor.

Love this display of stockings hung on a twig.  Featured on Apartment Therapy.

Seriously, who doesn’t love this?  I don’t think I can go without my big tree but this is just right for the dining room. Perfect idea for those empty nesters who are downsizing this year to a smaller tree.

Sea inspired decor is is one of my favorites.  The use of nautical rope gives it a majestic and grand feel.

House to Home makes this room feel magical with these stars.

With removable double sided tape you can make your own tree art with old ornaments.

A simple branch can bring the magic of the holidays into any space.

This pink tree from Martha Stewart Living makes me think of peppermint candy and how sweet the holidays are.  The deer at the bottom makes it complete.
