Gift Giving Ideas for the Holidays

by SweetSugarMama on November 29, 2011

I love the holidays.  I know it’s not all about the gifts but for me giving is such a rush.  I can’t just give anything.  I have to brainstorm on things the person I’m giving to will absolutely love.  It doesn’t hurt I’m such a product freak.  Here’s my list so far.  Hope it helps making your holiday shopping or your Santa wish list much easier.

The cafe cardboard playhouse from Little Play Spaces is just right for my neice ($79).  She loves to play pretend and I can just imagine her imagination running wild inside this chic cafe.  The castle is the next project they’re working on, I hope in time for the holidays.

This braided bracelet from Anthropologie may just be going on my list.  Sanskrit Bracelet $100.

Perfect for that baker in your life.  Love the retro feel of this set.  Reminds me of my grandmother.  Dining Room Measuring Spoons, Anthropologie $24.

The handmade jewelry from Love Heals will be top of the list for me.  This family owned company embodies a commitment to spirit, nature and service.  Ten food-bearing trees are planted in Ethiopia for each design sold.  To date this has added up to more than 600,000 trees.  $240 – $265 Neiman Marcus.

LePen Markers are my favorite.  These will be stocking stuffers for Bailey, my little artist.  Amazon $17

The ultimate art book will inspire anyone to paint like one of the great artists. Amazon $14.

I love this book.  Do you remember in Middle School all the times you scribbled in your notebook trying to make the best bubble letters ever? My favorite doodles were letters and perfecting the human eye.  I swear I can make some mean good looking eyes on any person I draw…now the nose and lips, meh 🙂  My ten year old is going to love this book!  Amazon $14.

I love this journal.  Make a fascinating time capsule of the next five years of your life.  All it takes is one sentence (or two, if you feel inspired) every day before going to bed.  I keep funny things my kids said, did or just a memory of something special that I don’t want to forget.  Easy enough.  Can’t wait to read back and laugh about all the great experiences I’ve had.  Amazon $12.
