Usually I’ll throw away all the candy left over from a holiday within hours of that holiday being over. I mean like 9 a.m. the next morning over. Somehow I missed one bag of unopened M&Ms. The pastel colored bag was sitting in my pantry as I was pulling stuff out to make popcorn and I thought of my favorite movie treat, so I decided to surprise my boys with my own take on it.
Here’s the directions to making Chocolate Covered Popcorn
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut up chocolate candy. I used M&Ms but you can use Twix, Chocolate Easter Bunnies, etc.
Next Step: Toss the chocolate chunks with your popcorn. Put inside oven for 5 minutes or until chocolate is really melted.
Next Step: Take out of oven, place popcorn in a bowl and enjoy!
