Have you ever seen Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. For me this is one of the most powerful documentaries I’ve ever seen. If you are lacking motivation to get up and kick yourself into a better you, this movie will do it. In a big way.
This is where The Healthy Juicer’s Bible kicks in. After watching the movie, I was left with now what? I want to start…like right now! The author, Farnoosh Brock, writes in a gentle and inspiring way. Kind of the way a friend would talk to you in order to motivate you to do something great for yourself. I love that it took no time to finish reading it (instant gratification…it’s my ADD speaking). I felt like an expert on juicing when I was done.
To say I love this book would be an understatement. God only knows I can’t read a book if it lacks drama, crime or romance. The Healthy Juicer’s Bible is on Amazon.com….go check out the reviews yourself!!!
But enough said, here’s RQ enjoying The Ultimate Pineapple-Kale Blast.
That cute face can only be obtained by drinking green.
Here’s one of my favorite recipes….
The Tart and Sweet Cooler
1 cup cranberries
1/2 cup raspberries
2 cups pineapple, peeled
Replacements: Use either cranberries or raspberries if you have only one.
And because The Healthy Juicer’s Bible encourages you to explore with your own recipes, here’s one of mine we love to drink in the afternoons.
2 cups of Kale
1 small Jalapeño (seedless)
1 cup of pineapple
