Here’s a super easy DIY wall art.
I’ve been looking for something to hang above my boys beds. Something that they’ll enjoy to look at as much as me. I wanted something that said exactly who each one of them is just by looking at the pictures. I can’t think of anything better than this.
Taylor (11) wants to be a video game programmer. He’s the chillest guy in the world yet he’s quite a monkey at heart. He walks around like a soft breeze through life making an impact on everyone for his sweetness. He picks up phrases and drives everyone nuts for weeks saying the same thing over and over. Lately it’s been “like a boss”.
Bailey (9) is an avid collector of anything old. He is the very proud owner of a vintage Atari, games, toys, among many other collectibles. He also loves graffiti art, especially anything Banksy. Hence, the black and yellow monkey.
Here’s how I made these:
- 2 vintage frames I found at a flea market. Yours doesn’t have to be vintage. Any cute frame will do just fine.
- 1 Canvas Paper – You can find it on Amazon.
- 1 Inkjet Transfer paper – You can find it on Amazon too!
Print out image on Inkjet transfer paper. Follow transfer paper instructions to iron on image onto your canvas paper.
Cut canvas to the size of your frame and hang on a wall.
Right now the walls are white but we’re thinking of maybe doing one accent wall in chalkboard black. What do you think?
